PostSubject: Radios from an old friend   Thu Oct 14, 2010 7:32 am

I got an email from the son of an old friend that passed away
20 years ago. He and his uncle, my friends brother had some stuff
he had given them years ago, now they are now old and need
to sell this stuff.
There's some old test equipment that's not worth much I know,
but there are 2 really nice radios.
A Radiola 20 with a matching floor stand battery box which holds
a power supply.
And what I think is a Scott All Wave 12, with power supply,
amp and 12 inch speaker.

So far I've only gotten this stuff uploaded to this web page
and I'm trying to help him figure out what it's all worth.

If you see anything you're interested in please let me know.

73, Ron w4ron

I believe the Scott is an All-Wave 15, in that it has 15 tubes, not 12.

Ron, I currently don't have room for more radios, but I wanted to comment -- I like the photo you're using for the avatar. It's the best I've seen yet. Are you planning to use it when we return to the "regular" forum?

No, you count again. Don't forget to include the amplifier/power supply, which has 3.
I have an All-Wave 12 Deluxe and the 12 includes the 3 tubes on the power amp. That's how they did it.

They're in Gastonia.
I may be able to arrange for them to be at my
house SE of Charlotte, if the timeing works out.

If you're interested, they will most likely be
at the swap meet in Greensboro.
