So I am thinking about getting these books from Lindsay's. On a lark I did a search at Amazon to see if they have it.
I found that some used book sellers have them. Have a look at this used book.
Vol. 2

This book is still available from Lindsay's for the price of $5.95.
I was shocked to say the least.

I contacted the seller and he said it was a error. The price is now $9.99. Still to high but not the crazy $499.99.

Yes, I like them and they explain things very well, as well as stimulating a lot of thought. Especially nice if you want to get down to basic building....basic meaning making your own capacitors, coils, etc.

I have them all and I would recommend them to anyone who is into building from scratch. As FrankB said in his post, "useful & entertaining".

Cheers, Bob

Spook, its a series of books, I guess they were complied by Lindsay, that have a lot to do with making radios with things you can find in your own home kitchen...more or less.

Interesting ideas, some are actually useful Smile But just the same they are very thought provoking ideas for those who are inclined.
