PostSubject: RCA phonograph Canadian Model SF783D   Tue Oct 19, 2010 10:07 pm

I am looking for service info for this RCA Phonograph Canadian built model SF783D.The amp is made up of a 50EH5 for each channel.I think the turntable is a BSR since it is made in Gr Britain.I have the turntable operating but it doesn't have enough power to run thru the complete operating cycle.
I know Seabreeze made phonos that used a similar circuit as this RCA

Hi,

Sorry I can offer any real help but I think RCA also used Garrard turntables in their consoles.
They too were made in the UK.

I found out that the turntable is a BSR,very close to their model UA25.I have cleaned and oiled it but think I need a new idler pulley as the tuntable has very little torque.
