I have a 1949 airline that when I worked for cable tv we actually had a picture on the 6 inch screen. This radio also has a 45 rpm record player with a am/fm radio. I'm trying to find out if this is worth anything.

Does anyone know anything about this radio? If you google it only two images appear that is what makes me think it maybe worth something. I can't find anyone who knows anything about it.

An image can be viewed at the link below.

If it looks like the picture it should be worth alot!! That is pretty cool!! It has alot going on with 3 different functions (TV, Radio & Phono). Plus being made only 3 years after TV was first widely broadcast should help it's value. I never see old TV's around here especially as cool as that one. I hope you can find more info on it. Good Luck. Kris

Don't turn it on any more....we'll see if someone can come up with some more info, may take a day or so, though.

Can I post on that site to find out how much a collector would give for this TV? So I could get and idea how much it is worth.

I paid $300 for mine a few years ago on eBay, I saw another one after that on eBay go for $600.

The TV itself is basically a Sentinel TV400 chassis with some mods to work with a Phono (RCA RP190 45 changer) and Radio.

I have restored the graphics for the dial scale so they can be printed on clear plastic.

Thanks for the information. Trying to decide if I want to keep or sell. If I decide to sell is ebay where you suggest to post it for sale?

Lots of variables there. Are you willing to pack and ship the set? Do you live east of the Mississippi? More folk in the east and closer shipping.

If you are in a major metro area, craigs list may work.

Good luck Very Happy
