PostSubject: A feature I'd like to see in the New ARF   Thu Oct 21, 2010 10:26 pm

I think it would be really cool (and helpful) if added to the New ARF was a
'Notes' area - where one could place personal notes to oneself regarding a Post, a subject,
or most helpful on a fellow ARF member- so many times I forget who it was who was so
helpful or who I sent something to, or visa-versa.
Just as in EBay, where you can have a Favorite Seller and place a Note on an Item you
are Watching. This Feature could be in one's PM Area, accessable only to the Member.

What do you guys think?

You've always been able to do that by sending a PM to yourself including links, pictures, etc., then keep it in your Saved Messages box.

Wellll...Yeah. Smile

I guess I am thinking of something more like when one is on
EBay, and there is a box to check to place a Note next to an Item
one is Watching -in the case of ARF, a Note next to Member's names
who One has had contact with either thru a PM, snailmail, or whatever.

A real Example in my case, I wish I could remember who it was who
sent me the lamp parts? Did I thank him/her? Rolling Eyes
And how about the free resisters a helpful member sent? Did I thank Him? Embarassed

I just think it would be helpful.
My memory is going... Laughing

Remember that the new ARF is temporary. So what you want is a feature to be added to the old ARF after it returns.

Yes. That's what I mean - The New old ARF.

EDIT: Oh gee Embarassed I just saw in 'Profile' "Friends and Foes"- Have we always had that?
(In the old ARF?)

If you tried to keep notes via PM I think you would soon run out of space. Obviously I can't check now, but I seem to remember
having to delete a bunch of PMs already to free up space for new ones.
